About AmBRNet
For many years, the Beagle Rescue Foundation of America (BRFOA), founded by Ted Swedalla in 1996, aided a variety of Beagle rescue organizations nationwide. When it ceased operations, Julie Wright saw a need to continue this valuable service and founded American Beagle Relief Network (AmBRNet) was born and founded to fill those recently emptied shoes.
AmBRNet is a fund-raising organization (501c3), established for the purpose of assisting non-profit Beagle rescue organizations who are engaged in the work of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming Beagle dogs. Since its inception, AmBRNet has provided over $100,000 in financial assistance which has contributed to the rescue of more than 2,000 dogs.
AmBRNet is a funding agency only and does not foster or place Beagles. We offer annual grants to qualified Beagle rescue organizations so help defray medical expenses associated with rescue work. We do not rescue, foster or place Beagles. If you are interested in adopting a Beagle or if you need to re-home your Beagle, there are several rescue organizations listed in our Reference section along with a few tips about how best to go about it.
If you are a rescue organization interested in requesting a grant, click here for further information on how to become a Partner and then apply for an annual grant.
Over the years, there have been many wonderful individuals who have supported AmBRNet’s efforts, but who have since passed away. Click the Memorials link if you would like to donate in their memory. If you would like to set up a Memorial to honor a person or a dog in your life, please click here to contact us.
Much of our fundraising takes place annually at the National Beagle Club of America Specialty Show and we thank them for partnering with us. Click here for information on prior years, as well as plans for the upcoming National.
